A busy mum’s must haves #9 {my everyday style}

My everyday style is pretty simple really, as long as I’m clean and tidy I’m good. I like comfortably casual clothes. Skinny jeans are a stable in my wardrobe along with my Tom’s and converse. My top half normally consists of T’s, vests and oversized jumpers. My jewellery is basic, diamond stud earrings,  a crystal star necklace and my engagement ring. If I wear a watch it’s a bright jelly strap one. I love to paint my nail (when I get time) and prefer a bright, bold colour.

I don’t know what my style is “called” but its me :0) What is your everyday style?

A busy mum’s must haves #8 {summer style – day dresses}

I haven’t wore a dress (or shorts) in years, but this summer with it being so hot I finally backed down and brought my first dress and pair of shorts in over 5 years, I can safety say I have been converted. My one dress soon turned into 2, 3 and 4. I am constantly on the look out for a new cute summer dress. I like a more flowing dress, nothing to tight and a light material and  wear with nice flat sandals. Dresses have now become a staple in my wardrobe and fallen in love with dressing up once again

Here are some dresses that I love.

A busy mum’s must haves #2 {summer hair}

I have long hair that I wear up 99% of the time, but I do like to style my hair. Recently I have been loving “buns” and “braids”

Any style bun will do messy, sock, ballerina or braided. Most times I will then add a elastic headband to keep it looking nice and neat of my face.

I am trying really hard to master the different braids (I would really love to be able to do a french braid in my own hair) so far I can do a 3 strand, fishtail and side braid. I also twist and pin the front section of hair to keep it away from my face.

If i get time I love to style my hair different each day. Here are some of my top summer styles that I am currently loving 💕

A busy mum’s must haves #1 {Daily essentials}

Being a busy mummy to two boys I have a handful of everyday essentials that I use to try and hide the black bags that have formed under my eyes, give my pale skin a glowing completion and my long hair a style that looks good and holds all day ( off the face & out of reach from little hands)

I definitely don’t get time to apply a full face each morning, but I’m happy if I don’t scare the kids on the school run    ; 0) so here is my list of absolute must haves that I use daily.

Bobby pins || Hair ties || coco butter vaseline || Hair spary || Guerlain Insolence Eau de Toilette || foundation brush || Clarins hydraQuench cream || Clarins beauty flash balm || Clinique superbalanced || Clinique blush in aglow ||

So there are my top everyday beauty products.  What are yours??
