And so it begins. …..
The small one is now 6 months old, and this past week we have started to introduce food!! he loves it, the new tastes and textures and he really seems to enjoy being part of meal time.
We decided to do baby lead weaning as he is quite independent and has very good hand to mouth skills. So far he has munched on Apple, Mango, carrot, sweet potato, cucumber, broccoli and he stole a Yorkshire pudding for my plate!!
I don’t think he has a favourite food, he just loves it.
This is the happy little face that greets me every morning. He is so content and never in a rush to get up (unlike his big brother). He squeals and chats, kicks and rolls, his always happy to welcome a new day. The smile that fills his face when i pop my head round his door is one of the best starts to any day.
Our garden transformation is well underway, and the last few days we have managed to get some plants in. Little mans new job is too water the plants that he helped choose and plant.
He loves the responsibility his little job gives him.
We took a family trip to the zoo in the week, and little mans most favorite thing to do there is feed the Giraffe’s and elephant’s. We took our place in line and waited till we got to the front and were given food. Little man held his hand out with the food on offer and laughed when the giraffe wrapped his long tongue around his treat and took it from his hand. The other half was just off to one side and managed to get this picture.
His love of water….
We took a trip to the beach this past week and came across water jets on the pavement. Little man was in his element running in and out of the water waiting for the pressure and hight of the jet to change. A few times he was caught off guard which ended in a face full of water but he loved every minute of it.
Back again with this weeks living-arrows picture.
Don’t you find that some of the best and most treasured pictures are the ones that you take spur of the moment, no set up or intention. The little man loves to cuddle his little brother and the small one laps up the attention shown. He always has a smile for his big brother and there relationship is special and unique already.
I have two pictures this week that I love that shows there relationship perfectly, so here they are :0)
My living-arrows photo this week is so simple, but one of my favourite that I have taken of the small one so far.
I love this photo ♡ a simple face shot. His eyes are so bright and looking with interest at me. He loves being outdoors and taking in the new surroundings and experiences.
